GREEN HAS ITALIA, a manufacturer of specialties for plant nutrition, has always been focused on innovative techniques of cultivation to achieve high-quality production standards.
Concerning this subject, it has promoted a series of seminars entitled " INFLUENCE OF NUTRITIONAL ASPECTS OF VINES ON WINE QUALITY" in several Italian towns.
Particular relevance had those organized in Novello (CN) on February 4, 2010 under the patronage of the Municipality of Novello and the “Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Roero” and in Rocca Bernarda - Ipplis (UD) March 9, 2010 with the cooperation of “AIE-Assoenologi del Friuli Venezia Giulia”.
There have been several discussions in the conferences among the authorities and experts of the domestic wine sector, including prof. Vincenzo Gerbi from the University of Turin and prof. Mario Frego
ni from the University of Piacenza.
At date, the enological research is focused on the phenolic content of wines and components that affect wine quality. In particular, the phenolic compounds contained in the solids (peel and pips) play an essential role on the characterization of different red wines because they are responsible for color, aroma, taste and tactile feelings and they are also primarily responsible for the typicality of wines together with flavor precursors.
GREEN HAS ITALIA agronomical team showed that the fractional and punctual supply of macro, meso and micro-nutrients, by foliar spraying and fertigation, can satisfy the nutritional needs of crops and therefore it can produce quality wines characterized by a rich content of phenols and anthocyanins.
Hascon M10 AD’s foliar spraying determines great quality improvement of the harvest, increasing the sugar content of grapes, anthocyanins and phenolic compounds, without affecting the acidity of must and ensuring a good lignification of branches.
Other researchers showed that MOLYSTAR increases the readily nitrogen content (APA) in the must. |
