Cyclamen is an ornamental herbaceous plant native to Eastern Mediterranean; it is classified in the family Primulaceae. From the wild species a lot of hybrid cultivars have been developed; they are diversified in petals, color and dimension (small-medium-big size).
Cyclamen is a plant with a good resistance to salinity and enhanced sensitivity to Nitrogen surplus: it is estimated that Nitrogen demand for a big size Cyclamen is 1500-2000 mg, 800-900 mg for a medium size and 400-500 mg for a small size one. Generally plants of Cyclamen genus remove N, P2O5 and K2O in 1:0,3:2 ratio.
We recommend to use GREENPLANT 20-10-20 + 2 + micro for the first fertigation treatment when roots appear near vase edge. From sprouting to beginning of flowering we recommend to use CALFON 14-11-22 + 8 CaO + micro for improving the color, the duration and the flower stalk resistance; furthermore it's also good against leaf margins necrosis (especially on F1 red, pink and white varieties). If in this phenological phase the vegetation results weak and leaves get clear you can apply T1 HAS IDRO 15-0-10 + 21 CaO. At last from the beginning of flowering we recommend to use GREENPLANT 13-8-24 + 3 + micro with alternated applications.
We recommend to apply OLIGOGREEN for micronutrients supply; in case of single micronutrient deficiencies use GREEN HAS ITALIA product range.
